Thermopilot

GENERAL

This selfactuated, direct acting, regulator is used in pilot systems.
Inserted at the inlet on the main pipe.
It gives an increasing of temperature after the first step of piloting regulation.
This temperature is some at the inlet gas main temperature.
Suitable for natural gas and non corrosive gases.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Connection DN 1” NPT.
    Screwed or flanged.
  • Project pressure: 100 bar (1450 psig).
  • Inlet pressure: 1,5 to 84 bar (21,75 to 1218 psig).
  • Outlet pressure: 0,4 to 64 bar (5.8 to 928 psig).
  • Project temperature: -20˚C to 60˚C.
  • Easy to use in all type of regulators.
  • Easy maintenance.
  • Compact design.

HOW IT WORKS

The thermopilot as creates a preregulator a pressure and flow level enough to feed the complete pilot system of the regulators. The gas, is heated, due to realize the regulation inside the main gas flow. This operation avoids the freeze without any external added energy.
It is recommended to add 4 inches of tubbing in all vent connections of the regulators.
