LNG Vaporizers

GENERAL

LNG needs to absorb energy to change from liquid to gas state (vapour).
This operation may be made through atmospheric systems, that means a big apparatus, or with forced water circulation compact systems.
Is used hot water or hot mixed water with non freeze additives as a heater fluid.
The transferred heat from the hot fluid to the cool liquid vaporizes the LNG and increases the temperature in its way from inlet to outlet inside the vessel.
The necessary energy absorbed for one kilo of LNG in the tryp to vapour conversion is about 121 Kcal/Kg.
Vaporizers and superheaters are designed to work with a hot fluid from 25˚C to 90˚C.
The LNG (Liquid) is forced to pass inside the tube bundle where the necessary heat reaches to the liquid, the evaporation takes place.
This vapor advances in turbulent regime (that increases the transfer) and is superheated till a desired temperature according specifications. It helps to avoid the dragging of liquid droops.
The cryogenic vaporizers manufactured by TEYCO are certified under the European Directive 97/23 CE, and the B+D quality modules or ASME U stamp.
